Our Journey
Shree Raj Educational Centre is a unit of Shrimad Rajchandra Aatma Tatva Research Centre which is a not-for-profit, registered, charitable NGO. The project started with a handful of children under the shade of a tree, in an area where child labor and dearth of education facilities were the norm.​

2003-04 : Started in one of the most backward & undeveloped tribal belts of Maharashtra.

2005-06 : Imparted basic education through creative ways. Provided Healthcare to eradicate malnutrition, anemia, skin diseases due to poor hygiene, etc.

2007-08 : Got the first structure to our vision – Balwadi started with kind donation of Shri Kakubhai Jamnadas Tanna. One standard increased every subsequent year.

2009-10 : Secured permission from Maharashtra State Education Board to run Pre-primary & Primary School – first English medium school in entire District. Enrolled 100+ kids on first day of school. Introduced MS-CIT approved vocational computer courses.

2011-12 : Strength grew to 330 children. Received our first school bus – courtesy of donors. Awarded “A” grade school by Education Dept., Govt. of Maharashtra.

2013-14 : Strength of 460 children, with classes up to 6th standard. Music & Dance Academy) started. 4 students won inter-school Drawing competition at District level.

2015-16 : Strength of 530 children, with 25 well-qualified Teachers. 4 School Buses to bring children from 25 km radius. E-learning & Brain Gym introduced – first school in entire District to do this !

2016-17 : New school building with related infrastructure constructed that can accommodate 1200+ students. One-of-its-kind school in entire Taluka.
